After Dharmasthala visit the Kadri Manjunatha temple, Sharavu Mahaganpathi temple, Mangaladevi temple, Gokarnatha temple at Mangalore. Itinerary

  • Day: 1 Bangalore - KukkeSubrahmanya

    Pickup from Bangalore airport/railway station in the morning and drive to KukkeSubramanya, a popular religious destination which is surrounded by lush green forest along with hills. It is situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara River. On arrival at KukkeSubrahmanya, check in to the hotel after some time, visit to the temples at KukkeSubramanya, first visit AdiSubrahmanya, great Valmmika (anthill) in the sanctum, then visit main temple of Lord Subrahmanya that is dedicated to the Snake God Vasuki and Lord Subrahmanya. The temple is famous for religious rituals pertaining to snake god, in the temple you can visit other small shrines like Uma Maheshwara Temple, SamputaNarasimha Temple, Hosaligamma and KukkeLingas. Then visit KashikatteGanapathi Temple, a very ancient and Ganapathi idol installed by sage Narada and Kukke Shree AbhayaMahaganapathi, one of the biggest monolithic statues of Ganapathi. It is 21 feet tall and the architecture of the shrine is in Nepali style. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day: 2 KukkeSubramanya - Dharmasthala – Kateel – Udupi

    Morning, checkout the Hotel and drive to SauthadkaGanapathiKshetra, a place dedicated to VanaMahaganapathi (without any temple structure) and it is surrounded by scenic beauty. There is no restriction for worshiping god anytime, then proceed to Dharmasthala, the holy abode for Hindu’s. On arrival at Dharmasthala, visit to the Lord Manjunathaswamy Temple, the main attraction of Dharmasthala and have a darshan of Lord Manjunatha (Shiva). Then visit to Rathnagiri(statue of BhagawanBahubali or Gommateshwara), Bidinede (Annappa) Betta, and Sri Rama Kshetra, on the banks of river Nethravathi. After visiting these temples drive to KateelDurgaParameshwari Temple, located on the banks of River Nandini. Get the divine blessings of Goddess Durgaparameshwari Temple and proceed to Udupi, a temple town and one of important Muktistalas of Karnataka. On arrival at Udupi, check in to the Hotel. Visit to the world famous Sri Krishna Temple and then visit nearby Anantheshwara temple and Chandramouleshwara Temple. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

  • Day: 3 Udupi - Gokarna

    Morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to SaligramaNarasimhaswami Temple and AneguddeGanapathi temple. Then drive to Gokarna. Gokarna located in the Uttara Kannada district. Gokarna is one of the important pilgrimage centers of Karnataka and also known as siddhi kshetra and one of the seven muktikshetras of Karnataka. It is equally importance like Kashi and Rameshwaram. The temple at Gokarna is dedicated to Lord Mahabaleshwara (Lord Shiva) and it is believed that the temple houses the original image of Shiva Linga (also called as Atmalinga). Legend says that the holy Linga was given by Lord Shiva to King Ravana to make his kingdom an invincible fortress. On arrival at Gokarna, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day: 4 Gokarna - Idagunji - Murudeshwara - Kollur

    Early morning after Bath, visit to Mahabaleshwara Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site amongst Indian Places. The Mahabaleshwar temple enshrines the AtmaLinga of Lord Shiva. Then proceed to visit TamraGowri Temple and Ganapathi Temple at Gokarna and return to the Hotel. After Breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Murudeshwara. Murudeshwara beach town lies on the coast of he Arabian Sea and is also famous for the The main attraction of this place is world’s second – tallest Shiva statue and 20 storied Gopura (237.5 feet) is constructed at the temple. Visit Shiva statue and Lord Murudeshwara Temple, built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. Then drive to Kollur. On arrival at Kollur, check in to the hotel. Evening visit to the Mookambika Temple, one of the important places of pilgrimage in Karnataka. The panchaloha image of the goddess on Shri Chakra is stated to have been consecrated by ShriAdiShankaracharya. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day: 5 Kollur - Shankaranarayana - Sringeri - HoranaduAnnapoorneshwari Temple

    Early morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Sringeri. Enroute, visit Shankaranarayana Temple, considered as one of the seven Mukti places created by Lord Parashurama. This is one of the rare temples where we can see the confluence of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnuand they are woshipped in form of Lingas. Then enjoy the beautiful scenery of AgumbeGhat. Sringeri is located on the banks of river Tunga and it is the site of the first mutt established by AdiShankaracharya. The main attraction of Sringeri is Sri Sharadamba Temple and VidyaShankara Temple. The Vidyashankara temple is an architectural marvel. After visiting temples at Sringeri, drive to Horanadu. Horanadu is a place of enchanting natural landscape in Chikmagalurdistrict, ancient temple of the goddess Annapoorneshwari here has been restored and renamed the Adi – Shaktyataka Shree Annapoorneshwari. The main deity of Annapoorneshwari is made of gold. It is said that a person who seeks the blessings of Goddess would never have any scarcity for food in life.

  • Day: 6 Horanadu - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore

    Morning after breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Bangalore.Enroute visit, Kalaseshwara Temple at Kalasa, the wonderful hoysala architecture at the temples of Belur and Halebid. On arrival at Bangalore, transfer to railway station for onward journey.
