Trip to the beautiful Bandipur National Park

Apart from the natural view of the place many adventurous activities are available here. The tiger population of the park is highest among all the tiger reserve in India. The park is situated at a picturesque surrounding on the Mysore-Ooty highway. The park is spread over an area of 874 sq km. Bandipur National park tour, Mudumalai national park, Wayanad national park and Nagarhole national park together forms the Nolgiri biosphere reserve.

The park houses many flora and faunas. There is a birdwatching place here. So, bird lovers can see birds like vulture, peacock, kingfishers, eagles etc. Bus safari facility is available here to visit the whole park. Photographers can go for a jeep safari also. The national park is controlled by both Karnataka and Tamil Nadu govt. The part of the park which belongs to Tamil Nadu is known as Mudumalai reserve. This park is a perfect tourist place for the nature lovers. One can take the tour packages to enjoy all the adventure activities inside the park that are not available to all visitors.

  • Day: 1 Arrival in Bangalore | Drive to Bandipur

    Upon arrival at Bangalore railway station/ airport, you will be pick up & transfer to Bandipur.

    Established in the year 1974, Bandipur National Park is located in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. Once the private hunting ground for the Maharajas of Mysore, this expansive 875 sq km protected territory is home to diverse species of flora and fauna. The park is marked by rivers, hills and the Nilgiris at its backdrop. On reaching your destination, transfer to the resort and complete the check-in formalities. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or as a better option, step out and soak in the lush surroundings.Later, return to the resort and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

  • Day: 2 Bandipur National Park

    In the morning, hop on to a jeep for a jungle safari in Bandipur National Park.The safari will give you the chance to explore the biodiversity of the park as well as its beautiful landscape. You may come across wild animals traversing the park or lazing in their habitat. Leopards, spotted deer, sloth bears, pythons, striped hyenas and the Royal Bengal tigers are some rare animals that can be spotted in the park.Besides being home to rare and endangered animal species, Bandipur is also known for trees like teak, giant clumping bamboo, rosewood and Indian-laurel. If you are lucky you may also see bird species like honey buzzards, Indian vultures and flowerpeckers.After the jungle safari ends, you can rest in your room or visit Sri Biligiriranganathaswamy and HimavadGopalaswamy Temple.

    Thenceforth, retreat to the resort for a comfortable sleep.

  • Day: 3 Bandipur to Bangalore | Departure from Bangalore

    In the morning, check-out from the resort and proceed to Bangalore for your onward journey. Tour Ends.
